To help us achieve this mission we are looking for a Database Administrator

What you’ll do

As a Database administrator, you will be part of our Core IT team with a direct link to our platform, the technical heart of Payplaza/ CM.com. Together with the team, you will be responsible for all database systems. In this role, you ensure that our Payments platform database is robust, scalable, and reliable.

• Work within our systems to keep all the databases functioning in a highly available environment
• Improve monitoring systems, database performance and help identify problems that arise
• Work with the team to support dependencies and changes in the database when introducing new software versions and components
• Suggesting changes and improvements for database maintenance or protection
• Maintain and update database indexes
  

What you offer

• 5 years+ relevant working experience in database administration (MariaDB, Microsoft SQL)
• Expert with database queries and optimizations
• Knowledge of database management best practices
• Experienced Linux user
• Excellent attention to detail
• Problem-solving and critical thinking
• Security and compliance experience is a bonus
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Fluent in English
