FACTS is a start-up that provides data analysis to European player agents and
represents foreign players that want to make a move to the Dutch national football
competition. With our services we give answers to questions like: which clubs are
interesting for a certain player, what value does a player represent and other data
related football questions. In the first years of its existence, FACTS acquired over 50
partners in most European countries, and lately we are working with clubs for our
services.
Job purpose:
The core of our existence is data. All our services rely heavily on data and the
intelligence that we extract from it. With the data-science department, it is your
job to ensure that the production of our reports and other data insights is 100%
available. Next to this, with the addition of new data sources from suppliers and
new demands from the market our models have to be updated and upgraded.
Moreover, the development of new models that enhance the quality of our product
is, together with the team, part of your job. You are the backbone of our company.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage the production of our reports
- Make sure our current models are up to date with the latest mathematical
and football insights

FACTS CONSULTANCY
- Design new (econometric) models that contribute to our portfolio of
products
- Create code that enhances the efficiency and quality control of our
production process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
- Fluent in English
- Neat and structured work ethic
- Solution oriented person
- Experienced with Python, MySQL and Github
