The team, part of a broader Cloud Department, is currently 4 Data Engineers working in scrum - with sprints of 2 weeks. The day starts with daily stand-up where the team aligns on what to focus on for the day. On a typical day, our data engineers are developing new integrations in python, provisioning infrastructure via terraform, writing custom Airflow operators and unit tests, releasing product increments, and monitoring the health of our data eco-system. You will be joining a result-oriented team with a culture of continuous feedback and knowledge sharing.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

Your profile

• Have a university degree in Software Engineering or similar field
• Have a DevOps mentality and have experience with code reviews
• Can propose and implement technical solutions
• Have experience working in agile environment

What we are looking for:

• Strong experience with SQL and Python
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with code-based ETL tools such as Airflow
• Experience with integration from/to Kafka, or similar event streaming platform.
• Experience with MPP databases such as Redshift, Snowflake
• Experience with AWS services like Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, Athena, Glue, IAM

Nice to have:

• PySpark / Apache Spark
• Event Driven Architecture
• Experience in Kimball and/or Data Vault modeling
• Terraform
