Reporting to and taking direction from the Manager of Business and Fiscal Operations, the Coordinator of Business and Fiscal Operations will provide assistance in the departmental leadership, management and oversight for the day-to-day business, administrative, and financial operations for Online & Learning Engagement (O&LE) units to include: Online, Dual
Credit, Off Campus, Non-Credit, Summer Programs, UCM Lee’s Summit, Study Abroad, English Language Institute, The Honors College, Digital Learning and Instructional Innovation, Greater KC Writing Project, WeMET, McNair, Career Education Consortium, and MO Center for Continuing Education. The Coordinator of Business and Fiscal Operations will coordinate, evaluate, manage, and lead the resources assigned to the position in support of O&LE business operations, fiscal operations, and campus communications. In addition, the Coordinator of Business and Fiscal Operations will have shared oversight and responsibility for all Faculty and Adjunct contracts, MOUs and all legal contracts, certification and disbursement of private loans, distribution of student bills, individual training account processes for MO state workforce centers, registration and payment software, and the Center for Teaching and Learning grant activity.
Primary functions of the position include but are not limited to coordination of the fiscal, budget, business, and administrative operations for O≤ coordinate and maintain vendor relationships; and serve as the coordinator with Accounting Services, Finance and Administration, Human Resources, Provosts’ office, Vice Provost, etc. for financial, personnel, and budget-
related activities, departmental business operations, University processes, O&LE business, etc.

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration Management, Finance, or closely related field required.
Education may be substituted for experience or experience may be substituted for education. Note that equivalencies are based on the following: AA/60 hours = 2 years experience; BA/BS/120 hours = 4 years experience.

1. Two (2) years of experience in financial planning, contracts, budgeting, financial systems and management with progressively more responsibility in grant management and audit controls.
2. One (1) year supervisory experience preferred.

- Detailed accounting knowledge to include tracking of accounts payable and receivable
- Knowledge of contracts and contract regulations including ability to ensure compliance with regulations
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Ability to interact professionally with University departments, vendors, and campus constituents.
Coordinate and supervise projects, processes, and procedures in support of operations and initiatives within a university environment
