We are looking for Systems Engineer with experience in DevOps to help deploy and run our credit card processing platforms in the cloud. As a Systems Engineer you will understand the key elements of the credit card processing platform and the overall customer solution. You will apply your skills with Cloud, Automation, and Windows administration to help run the most innovative and new credit card processing systems in the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

How you will fulfill your potential

• The Core Systems Operations team is responsible for the deploying, supporting, and building automations for the credit card processing platform.
• Participate in a large-scale migration of mission-critical systems from the data center to the cloud.
• Run the Production environment, taking a holistic view of system health and meeting all supportability requirements, including documentation, monitoring, logging, high availability configuration, capacity and disaster recovery plans
  

Skills and experience we are looking for

• Experience writing operational runbooks and systems documentation
• Experience with infrastructure migration, virtualization, and cloud computing required
• Demonstrable involvement with continuous improvement and automation initiatives, including systems deployment, patching, and maintenance of production systems is required
• Experience planning tasks using agile methodology using Jira desired
• Experience with configuration management (Powershell DSC, Terraform, Ansible, Salt, Chef, or SCCM) required
• Experience with a virtualized environment
• Experience working with major cloud solutions desired; AWS preferred.
• Experience in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed Windows Server 2016 or 2019 systems preferred
• Able to work effectively across technology teams to analyze and resolve Infrastructure issues
• Working knowledge of Prometheus, Splunk, and CloudWatch desired
• BS or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical engineering field
• Experience and curiosity in debugging and optimizing code for routine task automation
• Improve Infrastructure stability and performance by observing patterns, recurring failures and/or issues, and advise application owners on permanent fixes accordingly
• Knowledge of containerization and serverless compute desired
• Experience and understanding of change management processes and best practices
• Willing to learn and troubleshoot/support proprietary technologies not available through market place. No knowledge of proprietary technologies is required pre-hire
