Price Range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The Commercial Services Specialist (CSS) is responsible for providing superior customer service to a key list of specified commercial customers. The CSS will work closely with their key list of customers assisting each in facilitating their orders and other requests meticulously through the store system. The CSS must be able to utilize Dunn-Edwards sales aids such as D.E. Specification Guides, MSDS sheets, Product Information sheets, Color Charts and D.E. website including My Accounts. The CSS will possess knowledge of all procedures and policies in all aspects of store functions relevant to customer. This role will be positioned as an in-store sales role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with their assigned Dunn-Edwards clients and have a willingness to demonstrate to our customers that we want to be their business partner and provide them with the highest level of professional service available.
• On a daily basis customers may include Commercial Contractors, Entertainment Studios, and Educational Institutions.
• For the list of specified customers the CSS will be available for orders via cell phone or email during designated working hours.
• The CSS is responsible to facilitate all walk-in, will call or delivery orders in a judicious manner and do what is necessary to meet a customer request.
• Must have the ability to write and process relevant store forms and transactions in a timely matter.
• Must have thorough knowledge of sales techniques and customer service procedures.
• Must have the ability to coordinate with sales, customer service, sales management and store members to compliment your service and sales efforts.
• Maintain a daily log of all general activities and customer contact.
• As a member of the Dunn-Edwards sales team, the ultimate objective is to be the #1 choice in paint products, sundries, and equipment for our customers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience combination.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, and profitability; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s license is required.
