Job description

We are looking for a dependable and flexible Child Care Teacher to work in our center in Brookfield. Duties include providing fun learning activities for children to promote their development while maintaining health and safety in the classroom. Excellent customer service including verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to be a team player.

Flexibility in what age classroom you would prefer to work in, or the possibility to work with all ages, changing classrooms daily. Ages are 6wks - 12 years, with mostly 6wks - 4 years during the school year. Summers include field trips, park days, and special programs for older children.

Qualified Applicants:

-Currently enrolled in/Have completed Intro to Childcare, CPR/AED

-Have completed Skills & Strategies, Infant/Toddler or willing to complete within 2 months

-Has Registry certificate

-Will pass DCF background check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
