The Village Trattoria in South Orange and Maplewood is looking to expand its amazing and friendly staff with dedicated and motivated individuals!

A cashier/counter server is responsible for: processing sales through our POS system in an efficient and accurate manner, upholding the company standard of customer service, and fulfilling completed orders accurately and with care.

About the position:

• As a cashier you will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of menu items

• Input orders and operate the POS and phone systems with efficiency and accuracy

• Complete and bag orders ensuring neatness and quality control

• Take pride in your work and perform it with energy and friendliness

• Work as a team player while demonstrating outstanding customer service

What we're looking for:

•Our ideal candidate is reliable, courteous, and hardworking

•Great communication and customer service skills

• Food service or cashier experience preferred, not required
