We are looking for a Brake Press Operator for our 2nd shift who will be responsible for the operation of one of our Amada Brake Presses. This person will have the opportunity to work on up to 10 different work orders every day, producing different parts from a variety of different gauge metals.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Receive work orders with production instructions and work with our Set-Up Operators to get the Brake Press ready for production.
• Run the Brake Press while monitoring quality, consistency, and compliance of the parts being produced.
• Troubleshoot production issues with the Set-Up Operator, Tool & Die Team, and the Fabrication Supervisor to evaluate and identify corrections.
• Log work order progress and provide information to Quality, as requested.

You’ll love this job if you have/are:

• 1 – 5 years of experience in the metal manufacturing industry, preferably in a job shop environment
• 1 – 3 years of experience operating a brake press, preferably an Amada
• Committed to contributing to the team effort
• Flexible and willing to assist the team in other areas when needed

Pay: $18.00 - $34.00 per hour
