Billing Representative

However, the transition from gas to electric cars will change a great deal of what we know about transportation. We're going to need EV charging infrastructure that is accessible, reliable, and future-proof.

We are looking for a Billing Representative to undertake daily billing tasks and be able to see opportunities for automation where possible. You're proactive and also always very keen on accuracy and have an eye for detail. You should also be comfortable working with little supervision to meet tight deadlines.

You will be part of the Billing team. You will report to the Manager Billing.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Approving daily sales & billable service orders for customer invoicing with timeliness and accuracy.
• Address any customer/product/pricing data or other data issues to improve billing accuracy
• Issue, control and distribute sales & service invoices for the EMEA & Global
• Issue, control and distribute Inter-company invoices
• First point of contact between Sales and Finance department for billing related queries.
  Collaborate with other internal stakeholders to ensure billing accuracy
  
  • Interpret customers contractual arrangements for correct billing
  • Ensure proper treatment of VAT on billing
• Process and ensure that all commercial return requests comply with policies, including appropriate approval and needed documentation.
  Create and process credit invoices, invoice corrections and proforma invoices.
  
  • Continuously monitor and minimize the invoicing backlog, ensuring timely invoicing
• Posting invoices when needed into the supplier portals.
• Assisting correct electronic invoice transmission of EDI transactions.
• Ensure correct month-end closing
  
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies to allow smooth invoicing process.
• You will communicate and escalate problematic orders and all other invoicing related issues to ensure invoicing accuracy and timely delivery to mitigate risks to the business.
• You will possess and utilize your strong interpersonal skills – through direct communication with others and establish strong cross functional working relationships with (Order Management, Sales Operations, Supply Chain or Credit Control).
