Job description

Job Summary: Bartenders serve drinks and food to customers at the bar. They check id’s to ensure everyone in establishment that is drinking alcohol is of legal age. They also make sure our restaurant is a fun and safe environment for all patrons and employees.

Essential Duties:

Check customers’ identification to make sure they are of legal drinking age. They will never serve minors unless accompanied by legal guardian (see policies).

Collect money for drinks and give back accurate change.

Maintain a clean working environment at all times.

Send accurate food orders to kitchen.

Serve customers/take beverage and food orders.

Clean glasses/utensils/ bar equipment.

Mix ingredients, prepare drinks and cocktails, and serve beer in accordance with our pour cost.

Will be honest and trustworthy and never give out free drinks or over pour.

Represents the restaurant in a positive, friendly, and professional manner.

Greet customers in a positive and inviting manner.

Stock bar (beer, wine, liquor, ice, glasses, napkins, straws) and cut fruit.

Keep a clean work area. Maintain a professional attitude.

Promote our daily specials, in-house promotions, and upcoming events.

Complete all opening, mid, and closing shift duties as specified by management.

Perform other duties as specified by bar manager or restaurant owners.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of customer service—customer needs, service standards, and customer satisfaction

Knowledge of both drink and food menus, specials, discounts, coupons, promotions, and upcoming events.

Management/administration—leadership, coordination and direction of other employees

Strong listening and speaking skills

Pay: $7.25 - $30.00 per hour
