WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY BE DOING AS A BARISTA?
Regarding the role, it is as the job title Barista says really, you are responsible for providing the most unique coffee experience in Cafe Celia, a venue that will open this summer. The concept will be a day-time café where American optimism of the 50’s meets the Californian Spirit. A café that offers guests light meals in combination with amazing coffee’s. It’s laid back and should enable guests to grab a quick bite to eat or to linger around for a few hours and finish their work.

For this, we are looking for an experienced full-time and part-time barista who likes to be bold, creative and enjoys the Californian atmosphere. You have advanced barista knowledge and are able to produce amazing coffee’s in a short period of time. You are aware of the latest coffee trends and are able to implement those into the concept. Next to this, from time to time, you are helping the waiter team on the floor.

• You are outgoing and flexible by nature and love to provide personal service
• You will prepare and serve drinks in an efficient way
• Due to your interaction with the guests you know what they like and you’ll make sure they are blown away by creating an unforgettable experience
• Even though your focus is on the guests, you’ll maintain a clean and neat working environment behind the bar
• Able to assist in other outlets if needed (restaurant and bar)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SUPER STAR BARISTA

• Who has at least 1 year experience as a Barista in a comparable environment
• High level of ownership, since you will be running the bar by yourself
• With advanced knowledge of coffee and other drinks in order to personalize your service even more
• With an outgoing personality who likes to interact with guests in order to serve their favorite drink and bite
• That enjoys working flexible shifts throughout the week and weekends
• We would love it if you were multi-lingual, but it’s not essential (good level of English is a must)
