Bank Property Remarketing Administrative Assistant

Apex Bank is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a current job opening for a Remarketing Administrative Assistant. Apex Bank is a Community Bank with Branches across the state of Tennessee and has an Operations Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The current opening is located in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Job Description

The Remarketing Administrative Assistant supports one to two Project Managers by assisting with the management of Bank Owned Properties from the day they are assigned until the day the property is moved out of inventory. They will help keep up the records on each property, assist with the coordination of contractors and realtors, field incoming phone calls, reconcile invoicing, and assist with special projects as assigned.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist the Remarketing Project Manager with the development of project plans.

· Assist with putting project plans into action by contacting 3rd party contractors for estimates of work, establishing utilities, conducting follow ups to ensure proper work is being completed by use of inspection photos, and reviewing the final product before listing on the market.

· Assist with the Interviewing and hiring of realtors to assist with the marketing and eventual sale of the property, which will include the management of listing agreements, sales contracts, extensions and amendments, and any closing day activities as needed.

· Create and maintain property files and records.

· Be able to effectively communicate and provide concise detailed notes within the project tracking system so that management will be able to know the progress of the project.

· Answer incoming phone calls.

· Review and process invoicing for each property including utilities, contractor invoices, property taxes, etc.

· Work with other team members within the Department toward common goals.

· Other duties as assigned

Required Job Skills and Experience:

· Candidate should have adequate administrative assistant experience.

· Experience with property management, construction, or real estate a plus.

· Must be able to work in an office environment and have the ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.

· Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision.

· Keen sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines.

· Strong organizational skills and superb attention to detail.

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

· Strong computer skills with full comprehension of Microsoft Office with focus on Excel.

· Must pass a pre-employment background check.

· High school diploma or GED required.
