Are you a Baler Operator and looking for a new opportunity?

In this position, you will be responsible for sorting and loading paper scrap into the bailing machine from rolling cages. You will also load baled products, recyclable corrugated, etc. onto proper trailers for proper shipping

Schedule:

• Mon 12am – Mon 8am
• Mon 8pm – Tues 8am
• Tues 8pm – Wed 8am
• Wed 8pm – Thurs 8am

*Training is on DAY Shift*

Location: Doswell, VA

Pay Rate: $15-$20/hr.

Essential Functions:

• Run baler machine to compress and bind cardboard.
• Maintain the work area, keep equipment in a clean and orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Break down cardboard for recycling.
• Open chamber doors and remove bales.
• Set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment per the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 1 Year of Previous Baler Operator experience
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
• Must be proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Working conditions:

Working in a production environment with ambient air conditions, loud noise, dangerous equipment, variable lighting, and chemicals.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Doswell, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse: 2 years (Preferred)
• Baler Operating: 2 years (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Overnight Shift (Required)
• Night Shift (Required)
