Daily production baker for a busy, fast paced, and fun bakery.

Schedule:
Bread Baker from 5am-3pm on Friday and Saturday and Prep Baker/Delivery from 545am-345pm on Sunday and Monday.
Duties for Bread Baker include, but are not limited to:
-Scale, shape, and bake different types of breads for our retail cafes and wholesale accounts. (e.g. Baguette, Brioche, Ciabatta, and Sourdough.)
-Read and follow recipes and protocols for mixing.
-Meet production and baking timeline targets.
Duties for Prep Baker include, but are not limited to:
-Create the daily production list.
-Read and follow recipes and protocols for mixing. (Examples include Pastry Cream, Scones, Tart Dough, Chiffon Cake.)
-Be a self starter and have the ability to multitask.
-Be comfortable with sweet and savory recipes.
For each role you must:
-Be reliable and punctual.
-Be able to stand for 10 hours.
-Regularly lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.
-Keep the working area clean and tidy and participate in deep cleaning duties as needed.
-Have a general knowledge of math.
- Have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid Oregon Food Handler's Card.
Compensation:
Starting wage is $17.75 with ~4$ an hour in tips. Wage is negotiable with previous applicable experience.
Full time employees have access to company health care after 60 days, and a company 401k after 1 year of employment.
