Growing CPA firm in the Memphis TN area is seeking to hire an Audit Associate/Senior. Responsibilities include the full scope of audit and accounting engagements from planning through completion.

Has a broad understanding of client’s business and advises client during audit process.

Works closely with client and team to obtain needed information and documentation.

Research information or troubleshoot issues related to audit.

Acts as a liaison to client or client representatives; answers general questions related to audit.

Maintains industry knowledge of current audit laws.

Identifies client’s needs/opportunities for additional products or services.

Financial statement audit experience of privately held companies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and budgets.

Pledge to provide exceptional service to every client by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to goals and needs. Maintain and comply with professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct.

Requirements:

• A qualified candidate will have Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Master’s degree preferred
• 1+ years of public accounting experience and exposure to a variety of returns
• CPA or CPA eligible with desire to obtain certificate
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
