POSITION DESCRIPTION

Operations Manager

Wings. Beer. Sports. All the Essentials. Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) is an exciting, dynamic national brand seeking motivated, intelligent individuals to manage its successful, award-winning restaurants. Each store is comprised of 4 or 5 managers overseeing 40 to 60 hourly crew members. Each BW’s manager is expected to:

· Provide class-leading hospitality to all guests and teach others to do the same

· Set a positive leadership example for crew members

· Successfully resolve all guest recovery opportunities

· Complete/assist in food & beverage ordering & inventory

· Monitor Costs of Goods Sold (COGS) and ensure they are within set parameters

· Hiring & training of all hourly crew members (using BWW training guidelines)

· Execute local store marketing and other promotional initiatives

· Maintain good working relationships with vendors

· Ensure store achieves superior Corporate and EcoSure inspections

· Uphold the highest level of safe food handling practices

· Monitor Heart of House performance and ensure proper ticket times are achieved

· Correctly complete daily, weekly, monthly administrative tasks on time

· Adhere to all human resource policies and labor laws & report issues to ownership

· Effectively use Qualtrics guest system scores to develop crew member abilities

· Actively contribute to growth of Same Store Sales (SSS)

· Attend to all repair & maintenance and safety/liability issues in a timely fashion

· Attend, when required, all regional and national BWW conventions and conferences

· Attend all scheduled manager meetings

· Lend assistance to any hourly crew member when necessary

BWW needs managers who can think and do, who possess skills to realize individual success as well as the success of the restaurant. To become a management team member, you are required to have:

· Minimum, two consecutive years management experience in either quick-service or full-service restaurants

OR

· Minimum 4 years general restaurant experience (serving, cooking, bartending) in full-service dining

AND

· High school diploma or any higher education degree

· Availability to work five (5) days a week, any day of the week

· Availability to work during all operating hours:

o 8AM to 6PM (open)

o 11AM to 9PM (mid)

o 4PM to 1AM (close)

· Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.

· Ability to work unimpeded for extended periods of time on his/her feet

· General proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel
