Job Description
The Ohio University Department of Management in the College of Business invites application for one full-time, non tenure-track Assistant Professor of Instruction or Executive in Residence. This position is in-person on campus in beautiful Athens, Ohio. The appointment is set to begin August 16, 2023. Contracts for non tenure-track, instructional faculty will be a nine month, renewable contract for a term of one-year.

We are looking for student-centered, experienced instructional faculty who would be able to teach management within our Integrated Business Cluster program and other management related courses. The Integrated Business Cluster (IBC) is consistently cited as one of the most valuable educational experiences by students and alumni. IBC brings teachers from multiple disciplines into one class where students work as teams to solve business problems. Professors represent business communication, management, analytics and information systems, and marketing.
Student teams are then challenged to apply what they’ve learned from all four disciplines to solve authentic business problems. Professors will facilitate students as they learn and integrate key concepts, and also gain practical experience in leadership, time management, teamwork, problem solving, and analytical thinking.
