Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction, in partnership with EBlock, is looking for an Area Sales Coordinator in the Jackson, MS area. EBlock is a rapidly growing technology company with digital auctions across the US and Canada. LAFCAA is a 34-acre top-tier auction facility located in Hammond, Louisiana. LAFCAA’s Gulf Coast location enables EBlock to expand its digital dealer-to-dealer marketplace in the southern United States. This partnership further enables EBlock’s strategy of land-meets-technology. By connecting physical auctions and digital auctions, EBlock is creating a network of logistics hubs that will improve their ability to serve their customers and give them the flexibility to do business where and how they prefer.

What You Will Do:
- Use a relationship-based approach to assist customers through their auction needs, demonstrating how Eblock’s services can reduce their costs and enhance their business. Educate clients’ on Eblocks multiple product offerings and how they compare to competitors in order to be prepared to sell against them.
- Identify clients’ wholesale inventory landscape and provide solutions to increase their business with EBlock. Develop a book of business consisting of automotive dealerships regularly bidding and buying wholesale inventory on EBlock.
- Complete vehicle condition reports at our customers' dealerships, correctly identifying any damage on the interior and exterior of the vehicles as well as noting any missing components and/or mechanical issues present.
- Conduct walk-around inspections and take multiple photos of each vehicle to capture damage and help provide a clear assessment of the overall condition of the car.
- Prepare support documentation related to vehicle condition including vehicle identification data, condition description, photographs, etc.
- This is a field-based position; Area Sales Coordinators spend most of their time making local customer site visits.
- Overnight travel within their assigned geographic territory may be required up to 5% of the time.
- Knowledge of engine performance, transmission operation, brakes & driving issues.
- Diagnostic Skills; engine noises, trans shifting & differential noise.
- Maintain current knowledge, adhere to work instructions/procedures regarding inspections/documentation.
- Follow all applicable safety and health related procedures.
What You Will Need:

Have 3+ years of progressive customer-focused/relationship-based sales experience.

Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and your own vehicle.

Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities is a must.

Must be detail oriented.

Computer Skills: Basic PC skills, Typing/Data Entry, Internet, and MS Office.

Ability to drive and work in adverse weather conditions.

Previous auto auction experience, automotive body and mechanical work preferred.
