To own and ensure that all stores adhere to operational policies and best practices, through store visits and consistent execution of audits on site. Store results will be used to drive corrective action planning and work with store management to deliver continual improvements.

As this role supports stores located in the Benelux region, there is the flexibility to be based anywhere in the Netherlands.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• To take full ownership of instore Operational Game Changer execution across your respective stores ensuring all operational routines are being followed.
• To lead, guide and inspire teams throughout the area through regular feedback, coaching and celebrating success.
• To take full responsibility for mystery shop action plans, ensuring the General Manager, Retail has regular feedback on progress and improvement plans.
• Stocktake attendance and spot checking to drive best practice across stores. Post stocktake action planning reports to be provided regularly to the General Manager, Retail.
• To actively drive KPI’s through regular commercial report usage and walkthrough’s at store level with the Store management team.
• To provide cash and loss prevention support to all stores. To include regular reviews of G4S collections, petty cash management, reviewing floats prior to business peaks and reporting any financial losses in a timely, effective manner.
• To monitor and manage controllable costs in all stores, including items such as stationary, essential back of house items, minor repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure Store Manager’s are correctly raising their own PO’s.
• Publishing of all monthly audit results into the Retail Portal
• Management of holidays across all stores and feedback to the General Manager, Retail on a quarterly basis.
• Regular travel to stores within the area
• UK/EMEA based travel may be required at the request of the General Manager, Retail
• Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

• Degree or equivalent in retail related field desirable
• Proven retail store or area management experience
• High level of attention to detail
• Quality focused with a continual improvement mindset
• People management experience
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to organise and manage projects
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a team
• Sales and customer service focus
• Commercially awareness and cost focused
• Proficiency with MS Excel and retail software
• Ability to work flexibly to include weekends and holidays
