The Enhanced Polar System (EPS) Control and Planning Segment (CAPS) Program Office is seeking a high energy, dependable Administrative Assistant to join our team. The candidate will support multiple contracts with a variety of duties including arranging meetings, setting up and maintaining files, arranging travel for personnel, processing associated expense reports, coordinating onboarding of new personnel to the program and backing up the CAPS Program Office when needed. Candidate will coordinate with appropriate organizations, i.e., facilities, security, property, account management, to ensure contractor visit requests, badge and account forms are properly filled out and submitted.

The successful candidate will work well in a team environment, be an independent thinker, and have a track record of working well in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and organize/prioritize tasks independently, have strong office management and interpersonal skills, have a solid foundation in Department of Defense (DoD) program security practices and be self-motivated with the ability to collaborate well in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications Administrative Assistant 3:

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
  • High School Diploma with 4 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experienced with organizing/maintaining schedules/calendars, and travel arrangement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Associates Degree
  • Experience in Concur/ITRIP, I-Buy, NG My IT, SAP
  • Experience in coordinating and expensing international travel arrangements

  • Associates Degree

  • Experience in coordinating and expensing international travel arrangements


Salary Range: $51,800 USD - $86,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $63,800 USD - $106,300 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
